Our support page is designed to answer your frequently asked questions, and to guide you through the PXT set-up process.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.
Q: Do I need anything in particular to use the electronic business card?
A: The only requirement is a PXT-enabled mobile phone, which you can use to save and send your card.
Q: How do I setup PXT on my phone?
A: We have setup a very easy follow-guide available here.
Q: What does PXT stand for?
A: PXT stands for “Picture Messaging” and uses the same technology as MMS (multimedia messaging service).
Q: How does PXT work?
A: PXT is very similar to text messaging, except it deals with multi-media messages – like pictures. Our electronic business cards can thus be sent as an image file, so that the recipient can view it on their mobile phone, just like a normal text message.
Q: Don’t all phones have different screen sizes?
A: Yes, but your electronic business card is optimally sized to suit the majority of phones so your clients will be able to easily receive and view it. If you would like your card perfectly sized for a particular phone, simply include the model number when you order.
Q: How do I make the payment?
A: The payment is usually done through online banking or bank deposits. Once we receive your order, we will send you a reference number along with the bank account details. Alternatively, you can pay using your credit card via PayPal (3.5% surcharge).
Q: How long will my order take?
A: At cyan, we have a 5 working day policy upon payment. However, our typical order is usually completed in fewer days, depending on our workload.
Q: What is the 60-day free text-edit service?
A: If you happen to change your personal details – such as a new mobile phone number, or a new email address – we will alter the details on your card for free within 60 days of your purchase. To take advantage of this service, you can simply email us with your request.
